Visiting Fellow Mr Carlos Alberto Montana Hoyos was selected as one of the 10 most influential Colombian designers and architects in 2006.

Assoc Prof Chan Yew Lih was awarded Honorable Mention to DP Architects Pte Ltd in the category of Places of Worship for the project Extension to St. Andrew's Cathedral.

Archiland Consultant International, with Mr Low Boon Liang, has won 3rd Prize in the International Idea Competition on Urban Design/aArchitecture/Landscape Design: Revitalization of Gwangbok Street and PIFF Plaza, Busan, South Korea. This competition was organized by the Gwangbok Street Revitalization Committee , hosted by Jung-gu District Office and promoted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Korea and Busan Metropolitan City with the objective of revitalizing Gwangbok Street and the PIFF Plaza in Jung-gu, Busan.

Adjunct Prof Tay Kheng Soon has been awarded the Golden Award for Excellence in Architecture - Singapore by a+d and Spectrum Foundation. a+d is the only national design magazine of architecture in India and Spectrum Foundation is an off-shoot of the giants - Spectrum Paints, India. The two have joined hands to provide a platform to applaud excellence in architecture in India and now in the south Asian belt. This is the fifth cycle of the a+d & Spectrum Foundation Architecture Awards 2005.
