Procedures for Submitting Competition Entries through the NUS Department of Architecture(Applicable to NUS Architecture Students and Faculty Members Only)

Approval for Financial Assistance

The application form (c100) must be submitted for endorsement and approval latest 2 weeks before the entry submission date for the competition. Late applications will not be accepted for approval.

Please submit all c-100 forms to the Department Office (and NOT directly to Dr Erwin Viray or Mr Cheah Kok Ming who are both approving authorities for the financial assistance applications).

There is a maximum amount of S$50 subsidy on a per entry basis, regardless of group or individual submission.

If an individual submits more than 1 entry for the same competition, only 1 entry will be subsidised.

Faxing of Registration Forms

If you require the Department's assistance in faxing the competition's registration forms, please approach the Department of Architecture general office at least 5 working days before the actual registration deadline.

Courier Service

The Department will assist in sending submissions through the regular courier service. Entries must reach the department office at least 7 working days before the actual competition submission date for international competitions. We do not provide courier service for local competitions.

Late entries will not be eligible for claims for courier service.

Submission of Claims

Please submit your claims using the "Request for Payment to Individual" form. Please enclose original receipts and a photocopy of your savings account number for verification. Claims must be made latest 1 month after the entry submission date for the competition. Claims will only be processed when a soft copy of the entry has been provided to the Department.  Late applications will not be accepted for approval.
