The winner of the inaugural Tun Tan Cheng Lock Scholarship is a final year Chinese University of Hong Kong (CYHK) architecture student, Mr Kenneth Wong.  His work focuses on the renewal of the river precinct of some of the key cities of Asia including Malacca. Kenneth is especially keen on the disciplines of urban and architecture heritage and management, urban studies or urban planning.
