Rules on Academic Warning, Probation and Dismissal

 

To remain in good academic standing, and to continue in an undergraduate program of study, a student must not have:

·         CAP below 1.5 for 2 consecutive semesters; or

·         CAP below 2.0 for 3 consecutive semesters

 

A student who does not meet the CAP requirements will be issued a letter of dismissal by the Registrar’s Office.

Procedure for Appeal for reinstatement

Students who are refused re-admission to a course of study may appeal for reinstatement under the following conditions:

(i)    Every student is allowed only one appeal.

(ii)   Appeal must be made by the end of the first week of a semester.

(iii)  Appeal (together with a copy of the letter of dismissal from Registrar’s Office and other supporting documents) should be addressed and submitted to:

(iv)   Late submission will not be entertained.
