Final Year
Industrial Design student Lee Tze Ming
has won the second prize for the Intermot
Designpreis, under the professional category.
This category includes students and young
designers. The theme of the competition was
motorcycles/scooters for the young.
The project was done during Tze Ming's period of
student exchange in the University of
Duisburg-Essen and was supervised by Professor
Kurt Mehnert. Tze Ming's winning concept: A
lighter, safer bike for young riders. Improved
riding posture, road visibility and safety
features as well as greater confidence and peace
of mind for riders and their loved ones. |
